The Summer of Color - Blog Party!

Hello creative lovelies!  Today is the kick off for Kristin's blog party "The Summer of Color" at:
http://twinkletwinklelikeastar.blogspot.com/ ! Yay!

This weeks challenge will be the color BLUE and all its hues.  Each week there will be a new color, a new challenge.  We can interpret that color in any form of art that we choose to do. If you doodle, paint with mixed media, watercolor, make journal pages, whatever you favorite form of art, you can share your piece each week with the blog party.

I know that Kristin is having some awesome give-aways too!  So if you want to participate with us, pop on over to Kristin's blog (there's a blinking button at the left too) and get all the specifics of the party.
I will no doubt be choosing Tiffany blue to work with this week...

So if this sounds like a fun creative way to jump into summer, get out those art supplies and get busy - we'll see you at the party!

Forever in art,  Jessica xox

Blue...my favorite color. Time to get cracking in the studio! BTW, I love the nails. It's really a perfect match with the Tiffany bag. What's the name of the polish?

Thank you for your comment! I am so excited to be a part of an art community like this. Everyone is so supportive of each other and such inspiration, my head is overwhelmed with all of this wonderfulness! I absolutely love your work, I was looking at them and I love it all. It is so vibrant, the colors and the lines just pull me in. I haven't fully looked to see if you have one or not, but if you have a shop I would love to buy one of your works to hang in my new appartment!
Can't wait to see all the things you do for the summer of color!

Hi, Jessi ! I never put manicures on because my finger nails are like baby fingers.. hehehe it's completely square and it just don't look good when I paint them LOL
So I really like that cool color of your finger nails !!! =)

Hey Jessi, You are so darn sweet! Thank you for your encouraging words. The Moleskine I've been using is the Sketchbook (5x 8.25) I LOVE it...it can handle quite a beating. Have a great week...and I can't wait to see what you come up with for the color BLUE!
